DIY

Youtube Tutorial

I very like the idea of very small cupcake also like the way how the cupcake was made. The idea of small ball of aluminium foil inside  I think is great because the air dry clay will dry much faster. I might use that method in my samples.

Roses Samples

I was inspired roses from my previous research

I used transparent nail polish to paint the flowers it gave me shiny effect.

I added  red acrylic paint to the clay so it gave me light red color which i wanted i also used nail polish at end to make it nice and shiny.

I didn't  add any color to clay i just paint the flower using maroon nail polish it gave me strong shiny color

I used gold acrylic paint here to make it looks a bit gold.

I added white acrylic paint to the clay.

Samples

I made air dry clay base then i roll it flat on a table and cut out shape of circle. I used pattern which was on a piece of fabric and i press it onto my piece of clay. I let it dry for few hours

After few hours It gave me nice pattern. I painted it in blue color using acrylic paint.

Idea

My initial idea is a cupcake made from air try clay. To make the air dry clay i will need : cup of corn flavor, cup of PVA glue and one spoon of oli.

Here is a idea how to do a pattern on air dry clay you just need to roll the clay then place & press the fabric or stamp onto clay. It will give nice patter at the end.  <----- link

The Rose made from clay i thing it looks very good and i could use this technique to decorate cupcakes.  Rose
